The estate as a whole has changed in reputation from an undesirable aberration to a sought after place to live, its standards protected by covenants known to be generally upheld, its residents friendly, its location convenient for shops and travel. All this has been reflected in the steady rise in house values.

The Committee of the Residents' Society, starting with no experience at all, and despite periodic difficulties in filling key posts, has survived to manage the estate without resort to outside help. It has also so far succeeded in the main in upholding the covenants, thus preventing the damaging erosion (which can so easily happen when piece meal changes are made insensitively) of the high overall design standards.

The development is managed by an elected committee who oversee maintenance, landscaping and the day to day running of this small estate. An Annual General Meeting is held each December.
